I am filled with disgust, rage and a sense of hopelessness that intensifies every time I hear about cases of child abuse, neglect, TORTURE and abduction. How can someone commit these atrocities against innocent children? When is society going to realize the true value and importance of protecting children? Children are the future of humanity but yet the services and laws designed to protect them and punishments for crimes against them in no way represents that importance.
